Asier is an AI and robotics engineer working at the intersection of simulation, perception, and language, with a focus on building hands-on systems that bridge large models to real-world hardware. He specializes in deploying foundation models on edge devices, training in simulation, and transferring behavior to physical robots.

In 2019, he built AskSkynet.com—an early locally run transformer chatbot on a Jetson Xavier NX—well before ChatGPT, setting the direction for his current work. Today, he works with large language models, vision-language models (VLMs), and vision-language-action (VLA) models for robotics.
